We are partnering with the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) to implement an accreditation management system that will save their organization, assessors and clients a ton of time. During their 2016 Annual Meeting we debuted the sneak peek video to show off the system debuting in spring 2017.
Below is a brief glimpse of the client portal module of the platform that allows for further collaboration between AABB and their constituents.
Clients of AABB will soon have one location to manage all of their accreditation needs. This cuts down on phone calls, emails, attachments and faxes – all of this disjointed communication will be replaced with a single, user-friendly portal.
A large part of the client portal, that is featured in the video above, is the account management aspect. Instead of filling out pages and pages of forms every two years, repeating the same information that was submitted before, clients will fill this information in on an online form once. Whenever they need to update information with AABB they will simply login to the portal and update it within their account profile.
Through the accreditation process, a lot of important documents are generated and need to be referenced. When these documents are printed and mailed it can be difficult to organize, store and easily reference them. The document repository included in our client portal module stores each file generated, uploaded or shared and categorizes it within the system. The document repository allows organizations to reduce their paper dependency, stay organized and stop faxing so much!
The system features comprehensive workflow automation that monitors for events to happen – like a new client signing up for accreditation – and triggers a series of events that were previously done manually – like sending a confirmation email and notifying the onboarding team. By mapping out each process in AABB’s core business, we were able to determine actions the system could do automatically, no longer relying upon and waiting for a string of tasks to happen.
