Howard County Arts Council Selects NextLOGiK, Inc. to Redesign new Website and Cultural Events Calendar
The Howard County Arts Council (HCAC) released a request for proposal and selected NextLOGiK, Inc., Columbia-based technology solutions provider, to develop a new, refreshed website and interactive events calendar. The launch of its new website will be the centerpiece of activities planned to commemorate the Arts Council’s 35th anniversary in 2016.
“This is a great way to celebrate our 35th anniversary and increase exposure for the Arts Council and, in turn, further promote county artists and the groups that support them,” says Coleen West, HCAC Executive Director. The site will highlight grants, scholarships and programs offered by the council and encourage all citizens of Howard County to get involved with the arts.
The interactive cultural events calendar will include HCAC-hosted events along with arts programs and events produced by local arts groups at venues throughout the county, which can be submitted to the Arts Council. The calendar will act as a hub of “all things art” in Howard County and keep the community updated and involved.
“Creating a mobile responsive website with a modern design and organized layout will better speak to the various audiences directed to the Arts Council. Our team has experience redesigning arts-related websites and will focus on striking imagery to grab visitor’s attention.” Says Kirk Couser, CEO, NextLOGiK.
