About Us

History

NextLOGiK began as the IT department of COLA, the largest private, non-profit clinical laboratory accreditor in the US. After implementing new technologies that introduced efficiencies in COLA’s accreditation operations, the IT team began developing CompWALK based on the successes witnessed at COLA. In 2013, COLA’s IT and support professionals formed NextLOGiK, a wholly owned and independent subsidiary of COLA, to make the best use of technology and eliminate lag and complexity related to quality processes.

Products

With an extensive background in healthcare and compliance, NextLOGiK developed CompWALK, a cloud-based, online and mobile solution that automates compliance and risk management operations. CompWALK enables healthcare, accreditation, food safety and similar compliance-laden industries to operate more efficiently through the use of online, real-time inspections, documentation management and workflow automation.

In the Community

NextLOGiK is a team of programmers, network administrators, customer support professionals, parents, volunteers, students, athletes, shoppers, geeks, movie connoisseurs…and the list goes on! We believe that there is more to life than our jobs.  We also believe that it’s important to give back to the community that supports our families, friends and neighbors.

NextLOGiK is a proud sponsor and partner of Rebuilding Together Howard County, the Howard County Police Foundation, and the Howard County Autism Society to name a few.  Recently, we partnered with Grassroots Crisis Intervention to develop the first ever self-assessment suicide prevention app called There is Hope that is available as a nationwide resource for suicide prevention in the Google Play and Apple app stores. We are proud to be able to help organizations who help others succeed both professionally and personally.
